Sweatshirts from men's section

I love swraters and sweatshirts. As someone who always needs sweatahirts, here is a perspective on buying sweatshirts.

I have noticed a lot of differences between sweaters, sweatshirts, and cardigans across women's section and men's sections. I prefer buying sweatshirts from men's section. This is why

1. Interesting patterns
While women's sweatshirts have effiminate patterns such as florals, men's sweatshirts have a variety of patterns like solid colors, camouflage, plaids, checks which are rarely seen in women's collection.

2. Fabrics
Women's sweatshirts are mostly made with acrylic wool, whereas men's sweatshirts often use real wood, fleece, or even cashmere in the same price range.

3. Warmth
Owing to use of synthetic or semi synthetic fibers, women's sweatshirts are often thin. They also fail to keep us warm. Due to use of natural fibres, men's sweatshirts are cozy and war.

4. Comfort
Due to synthetic fibres, women's sweatshirts are often not breathable and hence uncomfortable. Natural fibers in men's sweatshirts make them breathable and comfortable.

5. Fit and length
Women's sweatshirts are snug fit (for slim girl the relaxed fit would be size L or even XL 🤷🏻‍♀️) and nowadays even cropped. However, gentlemen do get good fit and good length in their collection.

6. Durability
Poor quality and cheap synthetic fibres maje women's sweatshirts peridhable. While the natural fibres make the men's sweatshirts more durable.

7. Cost
Despite of poor quality, fabric, fit, and length women's sweatshirts will still be expensive as compared with men's sweatshirts.

Looking at these pros and cons, I strongly suggest to buy men's sweaters and sweatahirts. Being the cobsumers we should invest in the best quality clothes which are durable, sustainable, moreover comfortable. Then it would not matter if they come from men's section or women's section.

If we stop buying the poor quality good, then manufacturers would have no choice than making only the good quality items.

Hope you found this piece informative.
