June showers


 I stay in the coastal region of India. In our region, the rainy season or monsoon starts in the first week of June. 

Generally, it is very hot in May. By the end of May, the temperature starts dropping. In June, it is less warm and humid. Then, the weather becomes cloudy and windy. By the end of first week of June or at least by 10th of June it stars raining regularly.

However, this year was different. This year pre monsoon showers arrived in the mid of May. Since 20th of May every day was cloudy and windy with scattered showers. It was pleasant and slightly cooler than every year. 

Though the month of May was not wet, it was still better than every year. Everyday since 20th of May it rains a little.  The temperatures are cooler. The weather is pleasant. Yet it is not raining heavily and regularly as it is generally seen every year.

 It feels like the weather is confused. It does not know whether to be hot or to be wet. Everyday it is little hot and little wet. 😜

The question now is that whether the showers are pre monsoon showers or these should be considered as the monsoon showers.

Monochromatic style

Minimalistic fashion is currently trending. When we refer to minimalistic fashion, we will often see capsule collection and also monochrome outfits. There is a huge misconception that monochrome outfits only mean, black and white outfits, black with black, white with white, or neutral outfits of same shade. The craze of social media

A couple of days ago I came across something very disturbing.   A colleague showed me a social media post. This post was created by my colleague's friend (OP). The post was about an art created by her brother for her daughter. Normal right? Until it isn't. The OP's brother is a painter an artist. The post shows that her brother had small amount of his blood extracted. This blood was taken on to a palette. He has used his blood to create a painting of his niece (OP's daughter). The girl appears to be three or four years old.  He had painted his niece with his own blood on a canvas. This painting was gifted to the niece on her birthday. In this social media post the entire process of creating this painting was shown right from drawing of blood from the painters vein till gifting this painting to his niece on her birthday.
